Motion Theater Daylong
with Nina Wise
For experienced Motion practitioners and beginners.
Sunday, October 12
10am–4:30pm
Wildcat Studio, 2547 8th Street, Berkeley
Join me for a daylong immersion in Motion Theater®, a dynamic practice that blends movement, storytelling, and improvisation. Motion Theater is a form of physical improvisation designed to cultivate spontaneity, creativity, and embodied presence. Through guided exercises, participants translate inner experience into movement and narrative, discovering fresh ways to express themselves with authenticity and ease.
This workshop is both playful and profound. In a supportive environment, you will:
Explore the connection between body, imagination, and voice
Learn tools for creative expression and improvisational performance
Cultivate mindfulness and presence through movement
Experience the joy of spontaneous storytelling
Deepen your capacity for authentic self-expression and connection
No performance background is required—just curiosity and a willingness to move, play, and discover. Whether you are an artist, a seeker, or simply someone longing for a deeper relationship with creativity and embodiment, this daylong offers an opportunity to unlock new pathways of expression.
$125 ($135? $145)
